This W10 was the predecessor to the quartz G10/98 models used by many armed forces today. This model is a slightly updated version of the original 1970s model but retains a military specification hand wound movement. The watch is outwardly identical to the earlier models except that it now has a screw back for eaiser maintance - earlier versions were serviced by removing the glass. The watch has a heavy stainless steel satin finsh case, it is very robust and tough and built to endure the most extreme of conditions, sweep second hand, black dial and luminous markings with fixed strap bars. This watch is shockproof and water resistant to 3 ATM. Military ordnance markings stamped on the rear. Supplied in tin Width - 35mm excluding crown, 37mm including crown; Crystal diameter - 31mm; Lug to lug - 46.5mm; Thickness - 10mm

Supplied fitted with a NATO G10 black strap. The images with the Lee Enfield are of a watch from our actual stock.

These are genuine mechanical pre-G10's and very sought after. We are supplying them after receiving many requests for a mechanical version of our best selling G10BH Quartz.

Update: The MWC W10 was issued to British Army Units in BAOR as late as 1989 (see 'A Concise Guide to Military Timepieces by ZM Weslowski') The current version is the same case but with an upgraded and improved movement
